Javier Cruz aka Kruz 
Starts his route as a musician in 1997 playing drums in local bands in Bogotá (Colombia). During this time he found passion for rock, punk, latin funk, new wave grooves with electronic music textures. His music research and evolution brought him to the art of DJing and producing music as a solo artist, getting as a result the opportunity to play in multiple venues and places as Chile, Argentina, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Brazil, Peru, Germany and Colombia.

In September 2010, he has his first experience with a european crowd playing in My World Images festival in Copenhagen and Roskilde, Denmark. After that he continues and doesn’t stop the process to show his music, appearing in venues and festivals such as Dekmantel, Bosque Libre, Primaver Fauna.

Hi is a real passionate digger and his particular sound style is an original collage of  Wave, Disco leftfield, Italo, Synthpop and and electronic rareties with silky undertones and b sides.

Kruz was living in Santiago de Chile during 2011, where he created with Inti Kunza the project called Kruz&Kunza. This project was the sensation in festivals like Primavera fauna 2012, representing the underground sound in Santiago’s parties and dancefloors.

​

He was the founder of A La Siniestra collective In Bogotá with his complice Mansur and now Kruz is the founder and owner of the record store Discos Paradisco  ; besides he founded in 2021 and opened The first listening concept bar in his city Bogotá called PARADISCO BAR DE ESCUCHA.
