Byron Maiden is one of the most passionate and prominent DJs in Medellín. He is best known for his versatile performances in which he mixes a seductive range of genres exploring the different nuances of electronic music and always delivering challenging sets with sounds that transcend from the most primitive and eclectic Synth wave or Techno to forgotten gems of Italodisco and Chicago house.

 

Maiden keeps an authentic sound due to his constant musical pursuit that never stays in the same place for long. Among his productions is the collaboration in 2013 with Matias Aguayo, Gregorio Gómez, and Sano in the RIONEGRO project for Cómeme Records, and he has been constantly involved in broadcasting radio shows with Radio Cómeme, Red Light Radio, IFM and a variety of podcasts, including the legendary Digital Tsunami. He also co-runs CULTO, a project with a group of musicians who are creating an itinerant movement and a unique language around dance music in his hometown Medellín. 

 

As a well-known selector in Colombia, Byron Maiden also has earn a good experience playing alongside international DJ's like Lena Willikens, Interstellar Funk, Veronica Vasicka, Legowelt, Ron Morelli, Intergalactic Gary and many more.
